To gain a better understanding of the personality types that exist in people I spent the week studying the 16 personality types identified by the Myer Briggs Type Indicator so I can use this to expand on the existing descriptions of the colour characters. This is quite difficult as the most information I have on each colour character consists of 4 adjectives and some examples of fictional characters in each group. In order to create a successful brand, I will need to create some more in depth descriptions of each of my personality types. While reading up on the MBTI personalities I noted down a colour character that I felt corresponded with the descriptions to give myself a better foundation to build my own descriptions. Some of the colour characters felt definite whereas others were more of an initial feeling.
The personality types in the Myer Briggs method are comprised of four letters that represent different traits. There are four groups of four personality types:
