Today I started my website in Figma. Firstly, I made sure to load my colour palette and planned my text styles for easy access, and made the grid layout to make sure everything on my page would be aligned nicely.
So far this is my progress:
I'm really happy with how it's looking so far, especially the colour character circles. I am worried it might look a little bit plain with what I have planned so far with the neutral background but I have found it difficult having to work with so many colours. I don't want to include too much of one colour as I want all the colours to feel balanced between each character, so I think for now it needs to be plain. I also think it is more important to get all the content loaded on there first before I begin to work on the aesthetics of the site. However, I think it would be a good idea to add some decoration of some kind.
I have this pattern from my brand identity which is largely neutral but I think it might look too busy if I add it to the site:
It's something I will have to think about later on.
